Carefree living! That’s the goal at WS. Being a part of a Homeowner’s Association affords many benefits including no more worries about Snow or Lawn care. Your monthly HOA fee includes snow removal from roads, driveways, and walkways! You will have centralized underground sprinklers to keep your lawn green, while our landscape contractor does grass cutting, fertilizing and more!
Amenities abound at Whiting Station! Every Resident is issued a passkey to our Clubhouse and can access all amenities from 5:30 AM to 10 PM (except the Pool).
Pool, Fitness Room, Tennis Court, Libraries, and more are a part of everyday life at WS.
Ballroom: Enjoy our beautiful Ballroom on special occasions such as Holiday parties, hosted by our Residents club.
The Ballroom is also available to our residents on a rental basis for those special occasions in your life. ( a nominal fee and deposit is required for rentals) Rentals are for non profit events only and to residents only.
Pool: Our beautiful Pool offers a summer getaway right in your community. Our 3 ½ foot deep,1800 sq. ft. pool is kept at a reasonable temperature throughout the Summer. Bring your cooler and your Noodle and enjoy comfortable lounge chairs and tables in a garden setting! Our grill is available to residents for cooking(Carry in – Carry out rules apply) Opening is Memorial Day weekend and open daily until Labor day (sometimes beyond). Our Pool is a favorite among residents. Pool hours are from 10 AM to 8 PM. Please observe all Pool Courtesy and Health Rules that are posted. Please wear your Pool Badge and remember that all Guests must be accompanied by a Resident at all times. All swimming is at your own risk.
Fitness Room: A modern fitness room includes three treadmills, an elliptical machine, two stationary bikes, and free weights. HD TV is available to enjoy while exercising! Please observe posted courtesy rules and be sure to get your private physician’s approval before exercising. All guests must be accompanied by a Resident.
Tennis Court: Our well-maintained court is available for both Tennis and Pickleball. Pickleball teams form in the early spring.
- Tennis Court is temporarily closed until the recreational committee’s decision is made pending a repair cost vs a re purposing cost.
Bus Service: Whiting Station provides free of charge local shopping trips two times weekly, as well as special event bus trips visiting local attractions.(May have a minimal charge $ for event trips)
Libraries: Whiting Station has a large Book Library, as well as an extensive DVD Library for all residents to enjoy. New selections are added monthly and you can find best-sellers as well as wonderful classics. Many DVDs are also available in Blu-Ray.
Pool Table: Located on the other side of the Fitness Room, our Pool Table and equipment is available to residents and their guests. Please note: no one under the age of 14 is allowed to use the pool table. All guests must be accompanied by a Resident.
