Our active, non-profit Residents Club provides events and activities for our residents that make the Whiting Station community a lively and fun place to live.  There are numerous events throughout the year that bring friends and neighbors together in our modern Ballroom to enjoy food, parties, games, dancing, and other entertainment. The Officers of the Residents Club (elected every two years) report on upcoming events at the monthly HOA meetings.

The Residents Club holds many “free to all residents” events, as well as several events with an affordable charge to cover costs of food and/or entertainment for residents and their guests. Examples of some of the most popular events are the free Bagel Bash, free Ice Cream Social, seasonal Holiday parties, an annual “Trash or Treasure” Sale Day, Karaoke Nights and newly added Game Night. Many of our events are made possible because of funds raised at our Fall Craft Fair, held yearly on the first Saturday in November. The events may vary year by year, as we seek to incorporate new ideas and feedback suggestions from our residents.

Regular, ongoing Residents Club activities include BINGO (1^st Friday evening and 3^rd Thursday afternoon, monthly), CRAFT CLUB (2^nd and 4^th Tuesday evenings), SENIOR FITNESS (weekly, on Monday mornings), and WATER AEROBICS (weekly, on Thursday mornings, during pool season), and BOOK CLUB (weekly on Mondays).

The Residents Club also maintains a collection area for residents to contribute non-perishable foods, household, and personal items for the local Food Bank.

Additionally, many residents enjoy playing cards in the comfortable clubhouse game room and working out in the well-equipped activities center. The newly added multigame court provides residents with a chance to participate in BOCCE, SHUFFLEBOARD, PICKLEBALL, and the PUTTING GREEN.

We encourage all residents to participate in Residents Club activities and events by attending and/or volunteering to help, decorate, bake, or contribute in any way they can. We find that those who do attend and volunteer in this way truly enjoy living in Whiting Station, making new friends and acquaintances, and keeping our lives active and satisfying!

Community Bus: The Whiting Station bus will make Local runs and longer distance trips to places like Smithville, Atlantic City, and Delicious Orchards! Check the monthly Express issue for the current schedule.

The Express Newsletter: The Residents Club publishes a monthly newsletter called The Express. It is distributed to each home at the beginning of the month and contains minutes of all HOA and Residents Club meetings, articles full of information about people, services, amenities, and information on events and sign-up forms. It also contains a monthly calendar listing daily activities, trash and recycle dates, and a schedule for our community bus and the trips it will make that month.
